General Info

Tucked along Main Street in Natick, Cilicia Mediterranean Market And Kitchen feels like one of those places you stumble upon once-and then keep coming back to. The space leans casual and welcoming, making it perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a relaxed meal. The overall vibe is easygoing, and with paid street parking nearby, getting in and out is pretty convenient.

What really stands out here is the menu. It’s focused, flavorful, and packed with Mediterranean comfort food that feels both fresh and satisfying. On my visit, the Falafel Plate was a highlight-crispy on the outside, soft inside, and paired with just the right sides to make it a complete meal. If you’re leaning toward something heartier, the Beef Shawarma Plate delivers bold seasoning and tender slices that feel like they’ve been prepared with care.

For something lighter, the Fatoush Salad brings a refreshing crunch with bright, zesty notes that balance out the richer dishes. And if you’re in a hurry, the Zaatar Sandwich is an easy go-to. It’s simple, aromatic, and perfect for a quick lunch without sacrificing flavor. The menu also caters well to vegetarian options, which makes it a solid pick if you’re dining with different preferences.

One thing I appreciated is how consistent everything feels-from the food to the service. It doesn’t try too hard, and that’s exactly why it works. You get honest, well-prepared dishes that reflect the essence of Mediterranean cooking.

Of course, no visit is complete without trying the Baklava. It’s sweet, flaky, and just indulgent enough to round off the meal without feeling heavy. Paired with the overall casual atmosphere, it’s the kind of dessert that makes you want to linger just a little longer.

From the menu variety to the laid-back setting, this spot fits nicely into the local dining scene. Whether you’re checking out new locations in Natick or browsing reviews for a dependable restaurant, Cilicia Mediterranean Market And Kitchen offers a straightforward, enjoyable experience that feels genuine from start to finish.

What customers say?

“ Independent local import store with a wide and ever-changing selection of foods from the broader Mediterranean and Middle East (and some farther east). Very good fresh made hummus, baba ghanoush, and other spreads. Also a good selection of imported candies, chocolates, spices, drinks, and so forth. Dining in is more of a casual cafeteria affair. Good stop for a snack of some savory pastries, or a simple kebab sort of thing, but probably a better option for catering than a sit-down meal inside. ”

“ My go-to for Mediterranean! We love the chicken kabob plate, The gyro plate is also wonderful and you can't forget to grab and go grape leaves hummus and tzatziki! The owners are incredibly nice and very thankful for your business. Do stop in if you're in the Natick area. ”

“ Really good place for ethnic Mediterranean food choices. Very clean and neatly organized shop. They have little dine in area within the shop as well. Definitely recommended place ”

“ Outstanding Greek salad. Olives were whole, not sliced from a can. Got a big block of yummy feta. It’s asked for half chicken kebab and half shawarma because I couldn’t decide. They were both great. Wish I lived closer, this place would be on my weekly takeout list. ”

“ Every time I get a meal I can tell that it was put together with immense care. High quality and personal care from the owner who you can speak with every time. They also have Turkish coffee and tables up front to relax. And of course baklava to-go! ”

“ Cilicia has become a regular stop for visits to Massachusetts. Though supermarkets in general have expanded their geographic reach, Cilicia is a trove of fascinating things to choose from that you won't find anywhere else nearby. The one item I have to mention specifically is the small white bucket of feta cheese. It's delightful, and is the one must have item on my list. Aside from feta, this is a wonderful place for impulse purchases - on our most recent visit, we tried a package of cranberry-oat cookies that we will be looking for in the future. Though you may not be able to read the labels on many of the things you'll find here, shopping is a lot of fun, and very rewarding. Downtown Natick has always been a spot for unique shopping opportunities, going back to the days of Coleman Sporting Goods and Tickle Tee Shirts. Cilicia currently holds the title of 'worth the drive' for this town. ”

“ Great selection of Eastern European food and some ready to eat options! Beef shawarma was fresh and tasted pretty good! So many choices for baklava and all seem very freshly made. Store has some Russian products as well and Russian is spoken here ”
